Our information points, currently situated at two venues across the county, allow people with sight impairment to “drop in” and discuss their sight loss with a member of our team.
Our trained staff can provide information on:
- Eye conditions
- Assistive technology
- Talking books and newspapers
- Social clubs or befriending
- Computer lessons
These Information Points can also provide an opportunity for individuals to discuss the emotional impact of sight loss and how they are coping with it. If necessary, our staff can put you in touch with counselling services that have an understanding of sight loss.
Our main headquarters are based in Cheltenham where we look after our resource centre and co-ordinate our volunteers across the county.
