There are many social clubs around the county where blind or sight impaired people can meet up for a chat or to take part in a fun activity.

VI Cricket team – training sessions throughout the season.  Matches home and away.


The Highbury Club

When: First Wednesday of the month (2 – 4pm)
Where: Highbury Church Hall
Cost: Transport £6 (This includes meeting)

Theatre Group

The group meets up roughly 8 times a year to see a performance at the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham.  The group are often able to attend a touch tour to see the stage and props close up before the show, this allows the cast to point out significant props to enhance the understanding of what is going to happen and the audience can get a feel for the lay out of the stage.  To find out when bookings for the next show are being taken please ring the Insight helpline on 01242 22 11 70.

When: Every Thursday (2 – 4pm)
